Richard Osborne who published the famous DISCUSSIONS with Karajan book with interviews taken in person with the maestro covers this side of Karajan`s life.However after examining the facts by noumerous historical sources i have to say that his involvement with the NSDP was for the benefit of his cariere.I do not know if the maestro had changed his mind about the paricipation to the party,all the times he was asked he refused to reply.

O Karajan ήταν για μένα όπως σου έχω ξαναγράψει μυθική μορφή από την παιδική μου ηλικία.
Μεγαλοφυία χωρίς αμφιβολία, και γοητευτικότατη προσωπικότητα, για τα δικά μου γούστα βέβαια. Δηλαδή κορυφαίος μαέστρος, αυταρχικός με άποψη, λάτρης των Ferrari και της αεροπλοϊας, καθώς και του ποδόγυρου ως το βαθύ γήρας, και σαν κερασάκι μέλος του NSDAP γεγονός για το οποίο ουδέποτε απολογήθηκε. Με δυο λόγια μάγκας...
